Course DescriptionThis TV/Film production course is designed for today's new generation of aspiring Film & TV program makers. This practical, hands-on, part-time course will give you the skills required to pursue a career in the TV/Film industry. Students will learn the skills required to make a short film and a documentary with TV inserts using the very latest technologies. You will learn to use HD cameras, Green/White Screen techniques, indoor/outdoor lighting techniques, audio skills, editing on our state-of-the-art equipment. The course is 60% practical and 40% theory based with on-going assessment during the course. Minimum Entry RequirementsJunior Cert. or equivalent and/or relevant life and work experience. CertificationFETAC Level 5 Award in TV & Video Production E20149 ProgressionThis award may be used in addition to other FETAC Level 5 awards to form a full TV & Film Production Certificate. This in turn may be used to progress on to IT Colleges nationwide. Successful completion of this course will also facilitate entry to Level 6 and 7 courses in related media courses. |
